You guys are so close to high school. Let's make the most of our 5 days together!
Day 3: I can find the slope of a line from a graph.
Must Do's
1. Watch the first Khan Academy Video and complete Video 1 notes.
2. Complete the Khan academy slope practice. Make sure to write down all of your work on the notes paper. CLICK HERE!
3. Watch the second Khan Academy Video on finding a slope given two points on a line. Complete Video 2 notes.
4. Complete both sides of the practice worksheet! Turn it in when you finish!
Day 2: I can find the x and y intercept from an equation, and graph it!
Must Do's:
1. Watch the Khan Academy Video and take notes on finding the x and y intercept
2. Watch Khan Academy Video 2 and take notes to practice finding the x and y intercept!
3. Finish the 2 practice problems on your page, then check with me before you finish your must worksheet!
4. When I give you the thumbs up, complete your must do worksheet and turn in!
Day 1:
Must Do's:
1. Watch Khan Academy Video and take notes on Rational, Irrational, Integers, Real, and Non-Real Numbers.
2. Complete at Least 15 practice problems on Khan Academy exercise below:
3. Complete the worksheet on classifying numbers and check your work using the answer key.
Should Do's:
1. Use the card sorts. Sort the cards into groups. List how you grouped them on the note paper. Make sure all cards make it back into their correct bag.
Can Do's:
1. Create a poster that defines the different types of numbers that you learned about today. Under each category, make sure to give your own examples of the number. You must also provide a definition. See the example below! Don't copy this. I need to see your own definitions and examples! :)
